Suspension Keeping your journey smooth
The purpose of a vehicles suspension system is to limit the vibrations and disruption from the road surface in order to provide a smooth, controlled and comfortable driving experience. The suspension system also helps to keep your tyres firmly in contact with the road to assist with braking and road handling. In order to gain optimum comfort, stability and handling characteristics from your vehicle you should have this regularly checked.
What signs should I look out for?
The suspension system tends to gradually lose performance therefore it is sometimes not obvious that there may be a problem.
However worn shock absorbers can add up to 2 metres to your braking distance, so that is why we recommend having your suspension system inspected. A full report will be provided detailing any problems found and any suggested work needed.
