MoT Testing Your annual safety check
Any vehicle you drive on the road must be kept in a roadworthy condition. The MOT test is an annual safety check which ensures that your vehicle meets road safety and environmental standards.
It is your responsibility as a driver to ensure your vehicle is tested annually. Without a valid MOT certificate you will be unable to drive your vehicle lawfully or renew your road tax license.
An MOT test can be booked up to 28 days in advance of the due date.
If your vehicle fails the MOT test it therefore does not meet legal requirements and must be repaired to meet with the road safety and environmental standards. Notes on the failure will be detailed on the certificate and our centre staff will be more than happy to explain the work required.
